In Ujar is Spaso-Preobrazhenskaya Church – a monument of architecture of Russian classicism 1874, a Wooden Church was built on donations of the Siberian Cossacks in place of the existing from 1816 in the chapel. She stood at "Candelero tract" and was the venue for the funeral service of the deceased at the time of the prisoners. The Church with a wooden dome has two aisles: in the name of the Transfiguration and in the name of Sainted Nicholas the Wonderworker. In 1938 it was closed, but in 1946 the first temple was reopened for worshippers.
